On the base of the German FIT law SunEnergy Europe developed an energy-contracting concept for Hamburgs' famous Hagenbeck zoo. Yesterday the cooperation between the two enterprises was introduced to public media during a press conference. On two of the Hagenbeck buildings a 150 kWp rooftop installation produces solar energy for the geothermal cooling system of the new polar landscape "Eismeer" for polar bears, penguins and co.
