13.08.2010 - In less than two months building time the Stadum solar park was able to be formally given to the holding company Stadum & Hörn PV GmbH & Co. KG. The planning and execution of the 2.2 megawatt peak park began immediately after the completion of it's predecessor project, the community-owned solar park Meldorf.
In both projects SunEnergy Europe took on the role of general contractor and is providing the operational management of the park. The construction work was overseen by partner company Solarenergie-Andresen from Sprakebüll, Germany, and, in established tradition, built by companies preferentially selected from the region.
The initial planning of the solar plant dated back to Spring 2009, when the performance was limited to just 1.2 MWp. However, through an expansion of the surface and a denser layout the plant's capacity nearly doubled, to an effective output of 2.2 MWp. The plant was built exclusively with Hyundai modules, central inverters produced by Fecon, a well-known manufacturer in the region and a sub-construction system proprietarily developed by Solarenergie-Andresen.
